PAAPAM Summit 2025
PAAPAM Summit 2025 was a high-level industry conference organized by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) on 19 August 2025 in Islamabad. The summit brought together key stakeholders from Pakistan’s automotive and auto-parts industry to discuss the sector’s challenges, opportunities, policy direction, industrial growth, localization, technology adoption, and export potential.
The summit focused on strengthening Pakistan’s domestic automotive manufacturing ecosystem and creating a more competitive, sustainable, and export-oriented industry. Discussions highlighted the importance of supportive tariff and industrial policies, regulatory reforms, technological advancement, research and development, energy costs, financing, and greater localization of automotive components.
Government and industry leaders also emphasized the need for Pakistan’s auto-parts manufacturers to move beyond domestic demand and become globally competitive through innovation, improved quality standards, modern manufacturing capabilities, and increased exports.
PAAPAM Chairman Usman Malik highlighted the importance of protecting and strengthening local parts manufacturing, while government representatives reaffirmed support for industrial reforms and a more competitive automotive sector.
